I'm Rick Palmer. I build small web apps and I write about practical answers to everyday computing problems — most of which started as questions a friend or family member asked me.

This site is a 20-year archive that I cleaned up and rebuilt in 2026. Forty articles survived the cut. New writing lands here from time to time.

• My Finances — a personal-finances tracker I built to replace my Numbers spreadsheet.
