Question: I have cell phone service with Verizon Wireless. Do you know if it is possible to transfer ringtones that I purchased from Verizon from my old phone to my new phone? Verizon says it "can't" be done but I don't believe them. I think they just want me to spend more money on new ringtones.

I have 5 ringtones on my old phone that I already paid for, but of course when they loaded my new phone they did not transfer them.
How can I get them from my old phone to my new phone without having to buy them again?

I have the exact same problem! But when I asked the Verizon guy at the store if my ringtones could be transfered, he said they could! I don't know what to do either!

if you can receive pix messages on your phone, you can send ringtones by emailing yournumber@vzwpix.com with the ringtone itself (mp3, mid) as an attachment. when you open the text msg the attached sound will play and under options you can choose SAVE AS ringtone. then you can assign it from the call sounds menu.

That won't work. We're trying to get our already existing ringtones from our old cell phones to our new cell phones.
When I go to the "My Ringtones" menu in my phone, the only options I am given are "Erase", "Rename", and "Info". There is not a way to email the ringtones from my cell phone.

bitpim helped me transfer my ringtones! Try using that.
